Join PTA – Please help us make 2016-2017 another outstanding year by showing your support to the Haggard PTA!
Last year we had 100% Faculty/Staff participation and 408 members!  Our current total is 378 members.  We need CommYOUnity support to be able to provide all the programs for students, parents, faculty and surrounding neighbors.   Join the PTA today and help us beat last year’s membership total!

Due to the limited number of volunteers available to help with the “Haggard Teacher Off Campus Lunch week”  February 21st -24th, we will be unable to provide this opportunity for the teachers to have a lunch break outside of school.  Thank you to all those who did sign up!  We appreciate your willingness and effort to make this happen.  Hopefully we will be able to try this again next year.

Dearest Haggard Families, this year’s yearbook deadline will be over Spring Break, and as always, the Yearbook Staff would love to include any photos that you might have taken throughout the year of our kids! So many of you do awesome things during the day and outside of school with our students through clubs and organizations, and the students would love to see those things in their yearbook.

Below is a link to our Yearbook DropBox, a file-sharing site, similar to Google. To upload photos to the box, follow these directions:

  1. GO to https://www.dropbox.com/request/DSKVJF9LxUIKLyE8ihAt
  2. Select “Choose files”
  3. Find and select the files you would like to upload. Click “Open” once they are selected.
  4. Fill in your name and email address (in case the staff need to contact you about the photo for information or names)
  5. Select “Upload”
  6. Done!

A note on privacy: The photos that are uploaded will not be published anywhere except for in the yearbook, and no one will be able to see which photos you submit due to privacy settings. This is for our students’ protection.

You may also email photos to Kim Hicks (Kimberly.hicks@pisd.edu), but please make sure that you are emailing the original size photo. Do not condense it, or else it might not be useable. This process has been tested with multiple phone cameras, and as long as you email the original size photo, the resolution is great!

If you have photos but are still unsure about how to share them, please contact Kim Hicks for assistance.

Donation binHaggard families, we have a clothing donation bin!  Since it was put in place, the PTA has raised $400!
If one of your new year’s resolutions is to clean out closets….please bring all of your GENTLY used items to our donation bin!
All proceeds go directly to your students for classroom items,  programs, etc.
The bin is in the back parking lot on the corner.
We will accept clothing, shoes, purses, belts and stuffed animals.
Thank you for your support!
